The following sites provide information on commonly used guides, forms and grants-submission systems. The tutorials and guidance are designed to provide a better understanding of these systems but may not answer all of your questions. Please contact us for assistance and to submit your proposal.

- This publication consists of two parts. The NSF’s instructions for proposal preparation and submission are contained in Part I, the Grant Proposal Guide.
- This guide is active through the end of 2009 and should be used for all programs with submission dates on or prior to January 3, 2010.
- It will be replaced in January 2010 with a new version of the Grant Proposal Guide. This guide should be used for all programs with submission dates on or after January 4, 2010.
- The NSF’s instructions for managing awards and cooperative agreements are contained in Part 2, the Award and Administration Guide.
- This guide is active through the end of 2009 and should be used for all programs with submission dates on or prior to January 3, 2010.

- Standard Forms Families refer to the government-wide standard data sets and forms for grant application packages. These forms are to be used for information purposes ONLY. If you are preparing a grant application, you must use the forms contained in the application package that you download from Grants.gov
- Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat Professional are the two software packages that can be used to complete Grants.gov applications. Due to ongoing compatibility issues, contact us to verify current supported versions.
